The Gabriel Project is a program that reaches out to women with unplanned pregnancies to choose life and avoid abortion. Each woman who comes in is given personal attention by a trained volunteer who then becomes acquainted with the mother's circumstances and needs. Working in conjunction with existing agencies to provide shelter, medical help, financial support, transportation or any other needs that mom and baby may have, Project Gabriel also extends to women the friendship and assistance of the Christian community. Project Gabriel does not replace existing agencies but rather strengthens them. The Church therefore witnesses to Christ's love in a personal, visible and concrete way.
